As an educator we are expected to use our “best judgement” when teaching students. I believe that with the knowledge I have and the pedagogical skills, I make the appropriate judgement calls to optimize learning in my class. Students are always my number one focus. I always take into consideration student variables, such as prior learning, cultural background, abilities and talents, and maturation when delivering the Program of Studies. As a teacher I make any necessary adjustments and adapt in order for my students to always learn to the best of their ability.
