Family run since 1951, Lukes Drug Mart has you and your everyday needs covered. Need a prescription filled? Need to mail a letter? How about buying a classic record? Or maybe you just need a nice cup of coffee for the road. There really isn’t anything that Lukes doesn’t have.

At the Bridgeland location, all of the main essentials can be found on the first floor: records, pharmacy, post office. When you venture downstairs, you entered a mini grocery area, where they have all your cooking needs: Fresh fruit and veggies, perishables, spices, and frozen foods.

In my mind, Lukes has it all and does it all right. Their baked goods and coffee are top notch. And they even have unique soft serve ice cream flavours sure to keep you coming back for more. There’s something special about this place though, and I think it stems from the fact that it’s a small business. It’s a warmth, a feeling, an experience that you have when you’re there. The relaxed and friendly vibe always encourages you to come back and visit again.
