Being the only hand pulled noodle place in Calgary, Calan Beef Noodle is doing everything right.
This restaurant is located on Centre Street and 22 Avenue north, and is quite unassuming from the outside. Inside, there are only a few tables to sit at but if you call ahead you can reserve one for your group. After you place your order with the cashier, you get to watch the magic of the noodle pulling. It really is quite an art to see.
I ordered #7, the braised beef soup and enjoyed every aspect of it. The noodles were obviously very fresh, the beef was tender, and the soup was very flavourful. If you’re a noodle lover, you definitely need to check out Calan Beef Noodle.
