Restaurant. Barbershop. Cocktail bar. Cannibale fills all of your everyday needs. This cozy place is located in Bridgeland and has been a staple to the community since opening. It’s simple bar sign outside indicates where to enter, and once you walk in you’re warmly greeted with an intimate, lounge vibe.
Offering a multi-page, detailed cocktail list, drinks are what they do best. They have everything: your local beers on tap, wine, classic cocktails, and unique drinks with a twist. The bartenders have a talented way of combining ingredients to make a cocktail that is different than the rest. And if there’s something that you want which isn’t on the menu, they happily create it. I haven’t even come close to trying all their drink options, but I will say that my two favourites are the New York Sour and the Bourbon Special. They’re a nice balance between being boozy yet not overpowering.
In terms of food, they have numerous options available, most of which are designed for sharing. Recently while visiting, we tasted a few of their snack items to compliment our drinks. We ordered their Tiki Tuesday beef jerkey, mixed nuts, and sourdough pretzel. All were delicious, but the pretzel was definitely top notch. The saltiness of it, accompanied by a house-made mustard and a brie-like creamy cheese, was better than I ever imagined a pretzel could be! Experience it for yourself.
