Exploring the Beauty of YYC and Beyond

Bridgeland has a few fantastic dining options, and Blue Star Diner is definitely one that checks the box. Every time! They are a locally owned business, who opened in the summer of 2011, and since then have been working hard to use locally produced ingredients to support our farmers.

I’ve visited this hangout numerous times, both for brunch and dinner, and am always satisfied with the meal I receive. I will say though, I’m a sucker for their DL burger. All of the beef they use is locally raised and hormone free. You can taste the difference. Their burger is simple, with tomatoes, pickled red onions, and I always add cheese. It must be the secret DL burger mayo that makes this burger so tasty and delicious. Coming with a range of sides, from salad to “dirty fries”, each option checks your varying cravings, but I always find that their salad is uniquely topped.

Blue Star Diner’s service consistently excels. They’re there when you need them, but don’t bother you with constant check-ins. It’s laid back vibe, tasty eats, and diverse menu options make it a place you should add to your list.
